Who is ARMO?

SEMA Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) member companies help ensure the viability of the automotive restoration industry. ARMO's primary goals look to solidify the longevity and prosperity of the automotive restoration industry and to represent a unified voice on behalf of its members.

At the SEMA Show, the ARMO Reception is the ultimate networking event for restoration professionals and builders in the automotive aftermarket. Meet and connect with leaders and businesses who are at the forefront of shaping, advancing and preserving the automotive restoration industry, and celebrate the successes of the industry as a whole.

It is the perfect event for restoration professionals to make new business connections, mingle in a relaxed atmosphere and learn about the latest resources and programs that ARMO has to offer to its member companies.

ARNO Hot Product Showcase - Coming back in 2025 - Feature

HOT PRODUCTS SHOWCASE

The ARMO Hot Products Showcase is the perfect opportunity to get your new products in front of the right audience – for FREE! As an ARMO member, your company can take advantage of this free product exposure in front of 100,000+ restoration and classic car enthusiasts each year at the Spring Carlisle Swap Meet and Classic Car auction. Once the product arrives, it is unpacked and set up for display with descriptive signage inside the Hot Products Showcase tent. When the event concludes, ARMO repacks the product and prepares it for return shipping via the label provided by the company. Placing a product in front of that many consumers in person couldn't be any easier. "New" products ready for sale by the start of the Showcase are eligible for New Product Awards, but companies may display any products that they wish to put in front of the crowds at Spring Carlisle.

Contact Marcy Yanus, ARMO Director, at marcy@sema.org for more information about the 2025 event.

About ARMO

What Is ARMO?

ARMO, the Automotive Restoration Market Organization, is a council of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA). Dedicated to addressing the many challenges facing this segment of the aftermarket, ARMO directs its efforts toward preserving and promoting the automotive restoration industry.

Who Makes Up ARMO?

All entities serving the auto restoration hobby, be they manufacturers, distributors, retailers, restorers or car clubs, should be ARMO members. In fact, it is critical that as many companies as possible become involved. Once in ARMO, members work through subcommittees to focus on the legislative, educational and communications needs of its members.

What Are ARMO's Goals?

ARMO's primary goals are to ensure the longevity and prosperity of the automotive restoration industry and to represent a unified voice on behalf of its members. Within this context, the ARMO council will actively support and work with SEMA's legislative staff to address those legislative and/or regulatory issues which may impact the restoration industry; design effective educational and communications programs to keep our members informed of important issues; strive to advance and promote awareness of the restoration hobby; and work toward creating new business opportunities through our ongoing dialogues with original equipment manufacturers.

Why Get Involved?

ARMO's strength and success depends on industry support. Through cooperative action, ARMO-member companies can ensure the viability of the automotive restoration industry.

How Do You Get Involved?

ARMO invites all members of the restoration industry to unite in meeting its critical goals. To become active in ARMO, your company must first be a SEMA member. Join SEMA now. If you are already a SEMA Member, contact Marcy Yanus to get started.

How Much Does It Cost To Join?

ARMO annual dues are $50 for car clubs, $100 for all other SEMA members.

Guidelines for Proper Usage of the SEMA Logo(s)

  • SEMA encourages ARMO members to post the ARMO Member logo on their company website and use it on company-related materials such as letterhead, catalogs, business cards and advertisements.
  • An ARMO member may not use the ARMO Logo to market a particular product, or affix the logo to a product or to product packaging.
  • The ARMO Member logo may never be used by an ARMO member as a "stand-alone"; the logo must clearly say "Member" exactly as it is placed shown to the left.
  • The ARMO Member logo may not, under any circumstances, be distorted in its display; the logo must be vertically positioned as originally intended (not tweaked, turned upside down, etc.).
  • The ARMO Member logo may not be printed in any other color(s) than the original red, black and white scheme. If red is unattainable, then all black is permissible.

If you require a hi-res version of the logo, please email member@sema.org.
